Hackney Adoption Information Evening

To mark National Adoption Week (31 October - 6 November) the Council's Adoption Team will be hosting an Adoption Information Evening on Friday 4 November, 4-7.30pm. There will be a presentation at 6.30pm, and refreshments will be provided. Anyone who is thinking about adopting and wants to take the next step is welcome to attend. You don't have to live in borough to adopt a Hackney child. We welcome applicants from neighbouring boroughs and counties and from all communities. Hackney particularly needs single people, couples and families of Black African, White UK, Caribbean and Dual Heritage to provide a loving home for a child. The event will be an informal evening where adoptive parents and members of the Council's Adoption Team will be available to answer questions about adoption, the children needing a loving family, and the type of support that is available for you and your family.
